Have your say on the draft RES (Regional Economic Strategy) for the East of England - [04-09-2007]
After months of review, research and discussions with our partner organisations, the draft of the next regional economic strategy for the East of England (to run from April 2008) has been published on the East of England Development Agency’s website today. It proposes the economic objectives for the future of the East of England, and how these can be achieved. EEDA would welcome your views on these important issues.
Today’s online publication marks the start of a 12-week consultation period, which runs until the end of Monday 26 November 2007.
You can access the draft strategy and related documents by visiting www.eeda.org.uk/resreview. This link provides useful background information about the regional economic strategy and the review process. You will also find an on-line survey covering all the consultation questions in the draft strategy. The questionnaire has been designed so that you can save your answers and submit them later. EEDA would welcome your comments on all the questions, but alternatively you may want to respond to some that are of particular interest to you.
EEDA will be advising shortly about other ways in which you can get involved in the consultation (for example, they will be running some workshops - to discuss the delivery of the draft strategy – in late October and November).
