Innovation and Business Base at Luton - [25-11-2005]

IBBgroup1.JPGMinister for Competitiveness, Barry Gardiner MP visited the site of the new Innovation and Business Base at Luton this week.
 
The minister visited the site to see work getting underway on this exciting £18.5 million project which will provide state-of the art facilities and specialist business support for new start-up hi-tech companies.
 
He was accompanied on site by key stakeholders in the project and Margaret Moran, South Luton MP.
 
The new centre will be located on the new Butterfield Business and Technology Park, just off the A505, and is being funded by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) and European funding, supplied through the Government Office for the East of England (Go-East). Luton Borough Council will own the new centre and is overseeing the work which is being carried out by Marriott Construction.
