Center Parcs Refusal - BLEDP Open Letter to News Editors - [13-07-2006]

At its Development Control meeting on Wednesday 5th July, Mid Bedfordshire District Councillors decided to accept their planning officers’ recommendation that the Center Parcs application for a new holiday village at Warren Wood was to be refused. A number of organisations within the county have written to Mid Beds District Council and local press to express their dismay at this decision. It is uncertain at present whether Center Parcs will appeal.

BLEDP has sent a letter to editors of local press, supported by many local businesses and partner organisations.
