Funding Launch - Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities 2006-07 - [13-07-2006]
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The prospectus for the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) fund was launched at a Learning Partnership Event at the Rufus Centre on 11th July 2006.
The focus will be on supporting innovative proposals for community learning which will reach adults under-represented in mainstream learning.
The funding seeks to support and build the capacity of community and voluntary organisations to deliver learning opportunities for residents in disadvantaged neighbourhoods.
The funding available for the year is approximately £130,000 for revenue only projects, capital only projects or projects which are a mix of both. The lower threshold is £5,000 rising to a maximum of £30,000.

Timescales for submission of bids:
Closing date – 12 noon on Friday 11th August 2006
Successful applications will be informed by Friday 18th August 2006
